Our offers in detail. Please contact us if you have any questions.

We prepare system concepts according to your design expectations and combine your idea with our experience in the development of microelectronics and automation. We guarantee that we will liaise closely with you in order to ensure that our concept satisfies your requirements.

Technology studies

Do you want to bring your product onto the market more quickly and at the right price?

In that case, use the right technology to develop it. We regard it as our job to look for technical solutions for you and to familiarise ourselves with innovations. That way, you can focus on your product, your R&D Department will become more efficient, and you will get your products onto the market more quickly, at the right price and with the latest technology.

The correct choice of technology is all-important for getting your products onto the market quickly and cost-efficiently. We are committed to using the very latest technologies, keeping risks low.

Specification

In order to keep focused on the right objectives right from the start, it is important to write a clear specification. A considered specification saves time and money during subsequent phases of the project. We know from experience which points matter and will be happy to assist you in compiling a catalogue of requirements.

Implementation

Initial work on implementing the specification often begins in practice before the specification has been approved. The difficulty here is assessing which aspects to tackle straight away and which would be better left until the definitive specification has been approved. We will assist you in doing that.

We will prepare the necessary diagrams, layouts and production documentation for the manufacture of your PCBs. During this process, we will take signal propagation times, signal levels, impedances and EMC aspects into consideration and adapt the PCB parameters accordingly.

We mainly work with the following programs:

  • PADS Professional

If you wish, we can also convert your design into Cadence Design or OrCad.

We will also happily perform the production of your modules for you.

Prototyping

During prototyping, we will translate your specification into a proof of principle. We have a large number of eval boards for the processors and FPGAs, which are listed under “Competencies”, “Hardware design” and “SoC/FPGA/ASIC”. They enable us to implement your design requirements quickly.

Depending on the quantity planned, we will be happy to integrate your design further. The output during prototyping therefore ranges from an eval board, on which all the functions requested are implemented, through to a fully integrated solution which is geared towards your requirements.

If you wish to have the proof of principle integrated, we will develop a diagram and layout and oversee the configuration and soldering process. We can also configure smaller series in-house in our laboratory if packaging technologies permit.

Our competencies are put to full use during this phase.

If we have the configured the PCB here in-house, it will be commissioned.

All errors and changes that arise are documented in TRAC and are available for you to view at any time via WEB by entering your password. This will enable you to follow the progress of your design live. All the design-related documents are also always at your disposal.

Once all the specified functions are free from errors, the design is approved for verification.

Verification

Your design has been implemented, and the pilot series is awaiting approval. Thanks to the fact that the test specification is clearly defined during the specification phase, we are able to demonstrate all the properties specified by you using a representative test specimen.

This means that you can be sure that you will receive what you ordered.

Taking a design through to series production following development is a decisive factor in the successful launch of the product. We will be happy to assist you here with our experience in testing, procuring materials and coordinating production.

We produce our own products completely in Switzerland and, where necessary, can also do so in cooperation with the Far East. We also act as suppliers for the car-manufacturing industry in this regard.

Thanks to our work in highly standardised sectors, we can also navigate our way around a regulated environment.

Testing

To keep the scrap rate low, you should leave nothing to chance. Validated manufacturing processes and statistically based random samples enable you to guarantee quality and, where necessary, to take corrective action in good time.

Our experience in the procurement of electronic components will help you to choose the right suppliers. We know the right distributors and, if you wish, we can also contact the manufacturer directly on your behalf.

OUR COMPETENCIES

Competency overview. If you have specific questions, please contact us.

Our core competencies are System on Chip (SoC), FPGA and ASIC designs. With many years of sound expertise to rely on, we can integrate appropriate functions quickly and cost-efficiently.

Thanks to our many years of experience in the development of microelectronics, we can offer project management services for some or all aspects of projects. This entails support for in-house development or coordinating the cooperation with external partners. We are not limited here to the development of electronics; we will also happily organise all of the mechanical aspects, such as the assembly of your device.

Applications are implemented regardless of the platform used. This is based on the internal software framework, which abstracts all hardware and OS dependencies. This means that reusability and good testability are automatically integrated directly into the workflow.

We have already programmed FPGAs / SoC with the following languages and tools:

The following processors have already been integrated:

EMC aspects are taken into account in every development phase, but especially in the concept phase. This enables us to implement your project within the allotted time and at the same time reduce the costs for achieving EMC approval. Thanks to many years of close cooperation with certified EMC companies, we can also take over the certification process for you.

In January 2015, our certified ISO 7 clean room was put into operation. We can now carry out assembly and soldering work as well as test and measurement processes in particular.

In the increasingly complex environment of microelectronics, it is important to keep the overall system in mind when configuring the design. In many cases, problems can be identified and prevented in advance through a detailed system analysis. The complexity also becomes more manageable through a clear structuring of the function blocks and their interfaces. This applies between different electronic components as well as between mechanical and electronic components.

We would be happy to clarify for you which approval tests you need to carry out for your product. We accompany and support you with the certification of your product, advise you on any adjustments and, if necessary, carry them out for you.
