About
Acquisition Strategy Development: Support development of acquisition strategies, procurement plans, and contract approaches aligned with mission needs and regulatory requirements. Requirements Development: Assist in drafting and refining acquisition documentation including Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Objectives (SOO), and acquisition plans. Market Research & Industry Engagement: Conduct and document market research to inform procurement strategies, identify capable vendors, and assess commercial capabilities. Cost Estimation & Pricing Support: Develop or support Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), cost analysis, and price evaluations using market data and historical contract information. Solicitation & Pre-Award Support: Assist with development and review of solicitation packages including RFQs, RFPs, evaluation criteria, and source selection documentation. Contract Administration: Provide post-award support including contract modifications, funding tracking, performance monitoring, and contract closeout activities. Regulatory Compliance & Stakeholder Coordination: Ensure acquisition activities comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and applicable agency supplements while coordinating with Government and contractor stakeholders. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, contract management, finance, accounting, law, or a related discipline. Federal Acquisition Experience: Experience supporting Federal Government procurement and acquisition activities across pre-award and post-award phases. Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific supplements (e.g., DFARS, HHSAR, AFARS). Acquisition Lifecycle Experience: Experience supporting acquisition planning, market research, solicitation development, source selection, and contract administration. Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities. Professional Judgment: Ability to interpret regulatory guidance, identify procurement risks, and support strategic acquisition decision-making.
