About the Role As a Specialist on the Enterprise Access & Data Expertise Team (EADE), this role will support and enhance MMIT’s operational data quality with a focus on improving our customers experience with the data. This role is suited for individuals with backgrounds in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Analytics, or related fields who want to apply analytical skills to real-world healthcare data challenges. You will contribute to MMIT’s tech platforms and help shape how clean, reliable data powers AI and intelligent workflows across Norstella.
The Specialist will evaluate, research, and resolve both internally and externally generated requests for data review, using MMIT resources and publicly available data. Research requests will be received in queues on the JIRA platform and resolved in accordance with MMIT standards and client practices. This role preserves data integrity while facilitating client confidence in our products and processes.
How You\'ll Succeed
Research internal and external Verifications requests/Data Project requests submitted through JIRA to facilitate resolution (90%)
Know MMIT data and customer preferences to analyze requests and issues
Analyze categorized customer requests to determine appropriate action
Coordinate execution of updates if data changes are needed
Support Project Managers and Access Advisors within EADE by responding or escalating for internal data clarification
Build therapeutic area expertise and increase domain knowledge across EADE workstreams
Provide client education, training, and strategic guidance on how to leverage MMIT’s data and platforms
Serve as a data expert, representing the voice of the client when partnering with internal teams
Execute data changes based on team workload and capacity (10%)
Update internal tools to reflect research completed per Verification requests
Escalate client dissatisfaction or technology issues to the appropriate supervisor
Provide support to the wider EADE team to facilitate strong data quality

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in life sciences, biosciences, engineering, computer science, data science, AI/ML, technology, business administration or related field from a top institution
Two years of professional experience in data research, market research, biotech, pharmaceuticals, or managed care
Superior analytical, quantitative, and conceptual thinking skills with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Empathy, agility to learn, and growth mindset
Desire for continuous learning and improvement
Creative thinker with ability to inspire others
Ability to balance multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
Interest in professional growth and development with commitment to corporate values
Strong time management and problem-solving skills
Advanced writing skills and ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
Strong collaboration and cross-functional communication skills
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and managed care industries (1-2 years preferred)
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to convey data nuances with empathy, humility, and confidence
Research and triage skills; highlight trends in data and align with client goals
Travel: Occasional travel to client sites and on-site at MMIT headquarters in Yardley, PA

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $60,000. Salary offers are based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base salary and a benefits package, successful candidates are eligible for a discretionary bonus.
