About The Job The HR Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of HR operational services. This role actively contributes to process improvement and project initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience. The HR Specialist is responsible for partnering with the HR Business Partner (HRBP) team collaborating on people-based priorities that enhance employee engagement, increase retention, and support the growth and development of our workforce. This individual must be detail oriented, highly organized and possess strong communication and reasoning skills. Ability to work collaboratively with store personnel and field multi‑unit management in a fast‑paced environment while remaining flexible, resourceful, and administratively efficient would be key to this individual’s success. This position reports directly to the Manager, Employee Relations and Field Operations.
What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
Act as the primary liaison and trusted partner for field HR Business Partners to drive operational alignment by understanding field HR needs and translating them into efficient processes.
Investigate the root causes of field Human Resources issues and operational challenges to identify systemic problems rather than just treating the symptoms.
Identify and document gaps in existing HR field operations processes, workflows, and systems. Proactively provide detailed feedback and recommendations to the systems and leadership teams for improvement.
Recommend opportunities to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and operational excellence through automation and AI support.
Actively participate in HR Ops projects, contributing insights and expertise to help design and implement new processes, tools, or systems.
Support change management efforts related to HR technology implementations, upgrades, and process enhancements, ensuring successful adoption and integration.
Monitor and track timely completion of required organizational training and documentation; manage follow‑up with non‑compliant employees.
Assist the Employee Relations function as needed to conduct fair and thorough investigations, while completing accurate documentation and providing recommendations for resolution.
Regularly collaborate and communicate with cross‑functional corporate business partners, often as a liaison for store teammates.
What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3+ years of HR experience, or 3+ years of equivalent HR experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Must possess sound judgment and critical thinking skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and administer broad range of tasks.
Demonstrated success management of multiple projects and competing priorities while balancing the needs for quality with meeting deadlines.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills; evidence of self‑motivation; demonstrated ability to plan, schedule and work both independently and in teams within a service‑oriented organization.
Demonstrated ability to use technology (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, HRIS systems and internet) to gather, interpret, organize and present data.
Ability to maintain a sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time and operate computer equipment.
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week with some travel.
Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
This is a remote position.
Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
40 hours per week regularly, must be flexible to accommodate multiple time zones.

The starting salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. Over time, and subject to performance, tenure, and evolving responsibilities, total compensation for this role may grow to as much as $75,000. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
