Your Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
Oversee the development of multiple distribution-scale solar projects in Illinois. Manage safety, quality, and scheduling throughout construction.
Team Leadership:
Lead and manage construction workers and subcontractors, setting the example through innovative and sound decision-making.
Schedule & Coordination:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, closely monitoring progress, and resolving issues proactively.
Work Process Oversight:
Review work processes daily to comply with project goals, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with development, engineering, procurement, and construction teams, ensuring clear communication and progress throughout the project.
Quality Control:
Maintain high standards of quality, conducting regular inspections and addressing any deficiencies that arise.
Issue Resolution:
Identify potential obstacles or delays and take quick action to keep the project on track.
Field Oversight:
Provide on-site management and support, ensuring all work is performed to spec and on schedule.

Industry Experience:
2+ years of experience in distribution-scale solar projects.
Construction Management Experience:
3+ years of experience in construction management, ideally in solar or energy.
Education:
A degree in energy, engineering, construction management, or an equivalent background is preferred.
Leadership & Communication:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct construction crews and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Organizational Skills:
A keen attention to detail, progress tracking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Adaptability:
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and pivot when necessary.
Travel:
Willingness to travel full-time to various project sites across Illinois.
