Quantity Surveyor A growing Irish main contractor delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, education, healthcare, and public sectors is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Cavan. Role & Responsibilities: Support the Senior QS in the commercial management of projects. Ensure the subcontractor procurement process is handled efficiently and on schedule. Prepare detailed trade and contract budgets. Analyse package costs and negotiate effectively with subcontractors. Coordinate subcontractor appointments and maintain accurate accounts. Oversee subcontractor payment processes. Prepare cash flow forecasts and interim valuations. Manage change orders and variations throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within the commercial construction industry. Degree qualified in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying. Developing understanding of the full project lifecycle, including cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and risk management. Highly organised and self-motivated.
