Solution Architect - Digital Innovation Labs Location: North Dublin (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) Salary: €85,000 - €90,000 + 10% Bonus + Market-Leading Pension Sector: Enterprise IT / Digital Labs The Opportunity Are you a Technical Lead or Cloud Architect who still loves to look "under the bonnet"? We are building a high-performance in-house team within our Digital Innovation Labs. This isn't a "PowerPoint Architecture" role. We are looking for a hands-on, broad-spectrum Architect to design hybrid cloud solutions that will power the future of a major Irish enterprise. This role is perfect for a Senior Technical Lead looking to step up into a formal Solution Architecture position, or an established Architect who misses being close to the technology. What Makes This Role Different? The "Nuts and Bolts" Focus: You won't just manage vendors. You will design hybrid cloud solutions across networking, infrastructure, and platforms. The Innovation Bridge: You'll be the translator between complex "Lab" innovations (including AI and scratch-built products) and business stakeholders. Flat Structure: You'll report to a Senior IT Manager in a lean, agile team where your designs have a direct, visible impact on operations. What You'll Bring We are looking for a Generalist with a deep understanding of how the whole ecosystem connects. Azure Expert: Minimum 3 years of deep Azure Cloud experience (IaaS & PaaS). Broad Tech Stack: Proven expertise across Application Integration, Data Platforms, Infrastructure, and Networks. The "Under the Bonnet" Skillset: You understand the reality of connecting modern cloud services with legacy on-premise systems. The Communicator: Ability to navigate enterprise IT standards while "selling" architectural benefits to non-technical stakeholders. Note on Background: We are seeking someone from a Technical/Infrastructure/Systems background. This role is not suited for pure Software Architects or Data Specialists with narrow domain expertise.
