Under the supervision of the Imaging Manager, is responsible for the day-to-day operations for the deaprtments. Provides feedback to co-workers in the form of performance appraisals. Traveling to various facilities is required as is the ability to cover in the clinical areas as needed.Position Details:CT SupervisorLocation: Mercy Hospital Washington, MOSchedule: Days 9am-5:30pmEmployment Type: Ful-TimePosition SummaryWe are seeking an experienced CT Supervisor to provide leadership, oversight, and clinical expertise within our Imaging Services department. This role requires hands-on CT experience and the ability to lead, support, and develop a high-performing CT team while ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day supervision and support of CT technologists and staffEnsure high-quality CT imaging services and adherence to departmental protocols and standardsServe as a clinical resource, utilizing advanced CT knowledge and experienceAssist with staffing, scheduling, onboarding, training, and competency validationSupport quality improvement initiatives, patient safety, and regulatory complianceCollaborate with leadership to address workflow, staffing needs, and performance goalsMaintain equipment readiness and coordinate troubleshooting as neededRequired QualificationsCT experience required (prior hands-on CT technologist experience is essential)ARRT certification in Radiography and CT certification requiredActive state licensure (if applicable)Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferredStrong communication, organizational, and team-building skillsPreferred QualificationsPrior supervisory or lead technologist experience in CTExperience with quality initiatives, staff development, and performance managementWhy Join UsOpportunity to lead and grow a CT teamSupportive leadership and collaborative environmentCompetitive compensation and benefitsQualificationsEducationSuccessful completion of an accredited Radiology Program requiredExperienceThree to five years of experience in a hospital and/or outpatient imaging setting requiredPrior CT experience requiredPrevious Lead Technologist or Supervisor experience strongly preferredCertificationsRegistered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) requiredARRT certification in CT requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredOther RequirementsMust be willing and able to travel to off-site imaging centers as neededWhy Mercy?From day one, Mercy offers outstanding benefits - including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, tuition support, and matched retirement plans for team members working 32+ hours per pay period.Join a caring, collaborative team where your voice matters.
