Job specification
- Monitor patients' heart rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, identifying abnormalities and responding promptly.
- Provide nursing care, including administering medications, treatments, and continuous cardiac monitoring.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, lifestyle modifications, and discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare policies and procedures.
Candidate requirements
- Active RN license in Missouri.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in cardiac or telemetry nursing is preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Strong clinical and assessment skills, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patient cases simultaneously.
