Come join our enthusiastic and knowledgable team in beautiful Durango, CO. We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary outpatient pediatric team, comprised of OT, PT and SLPs. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to our mission of improving patient outcomes. Feeding experience preferred but not required. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. This position is full time starting this summer to cover maternity leave, and can continue to be full time or drop to part time in the fall.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to evaluate speech and language disorders.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
* Provide therapy sessions focusing on improving communication skills, feeding and speech clarity.
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare professionals to support the child's progress.
* Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
* Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in pediatric speech therapy.
*Qualifications*
* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
* Valid state licensure and certification in Speech-Language Pathology
* Proficiency in speech therapy techniques and patient assessment
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
* Experience working with pediatric patients strongly preferred
* Ability to commute to Durango and Bayfield locations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
