**How you'll make an impact in this role**
+ Optimize therapeutic outcomes by reviewing and assuring the appropriate selection, dosing, and dispensing of all medication orders to prevent and resolve potential drug-related problems.
+ Serve as a clinical consultant, providing comprehensive drug information, education, and effective counseling to medical staff and patients to facilitate informed care decisions.
+ Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to recommend appropriate formulary alternatives and communicate necessary adjustments to facilitate continuous, high-quality patient care.
+ Oversee and mentor technical personnel and pharmacy students in the preparation, maintenance, and dispensing of medications, ensuring high standards in quality and safety.
+ Prepare and accurately dispense compounded medications to ensure the safe and precise delivery of patient-specific therapies.
**What minimum requirements you'll need**
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.
Education:
+ Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
