About

TScan is seeking a research professional with demonstrated expertise in flow cytometry and instrumentation to join our team as Flow Cytometry Technician, to coordinate the usage and maintenance of TScans Flow Cytometry Core Lab. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience in the operation and maintenance of a flow core lab, and enjoy fast-paced, collaborative, and vibrant culture. A team player with a sense of urgency will thrive in this role.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the operation and maintenance of multiple flow cytometry analyzers and cell sorters within a shared core facility, including preparing instruments for daily use, managing instrument scheduling, performing and documenting quality control (QC) procedures, and troubleshooting technical issues related to flow cytometry and cell separation systems.
* Lead vendor interactions related to instrument maintenance, including coordinating service visits, tracking service histories, managing service contracts, and assisting with performance qualification following repairs or upgrades.
* Maintain inventory of consumables (e.g., sheath fluid, filters, tubes, QC beads), restock supplies as needed, and oversee maintenance and quality control of the shared cell
