Shift Differentials:
  • Evening - $3.00/hour
  • Night - $5.00/hour
  • Weekend - $4.50/hour
  • Pharm Night - $8.50/hour

Premiums:
  • Standby - $4.00/hour
  • Lead - $3.25/hour
  • Per Diem - 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits)
  • Certification - $2.00/hour
  • Trainer - $2.00/hour
  • Student Coord - $2.00/hour, 2+ = $3.25/hour

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Polysomnographic Technologist II performs comprehensive polysomnography in accordance with OMC's Sleep Center policies and procedures, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) guidelines.
EDUCATION
  • Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography OR
  • Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year's duration, associated with a state-licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility OR
  • Equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technologist

EXPERIENCE
18 months' experience in polysomnography preferred
LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS
  • Certification (and maintenance of certification) by the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) as a Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) OR
  • Equivalent registration by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
  • Current BLS certification
