Job Description:
* Up to a $1,500 Sign-on Bonus Available
* Selects appropriate materials and sterilization packaging for each instrument set, ensuring proper wrapping for aseptic technique.
* Other duties as assigned.
* Ensures sterility indicators and lot stickers are present on all instrument sets and packages.
* Operates complex sterilization equipment, selecting the correct method of sterilization based on manufacturer instructions.
* Reviews and signs all sterilizer recording charts to verify proper sterilization parameters before releasing items for clinical use.

* Ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements. (Required)
* Ability to understand the needs of the customer and respond to them in a pro-active, courteous, professional, and efficient manner. (Required)

* Ability to work under stress and deadlines. (Required)
* Medical terminology (Required)
Education:
* High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
* Technical/Vocational School (Preferred)
Field of Study:
* in healthcare sterile processing
Work Experience:
* 1+ related experience (Preferred)
Additional Information:
* N/A
Licenses and Certifications:
* Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) (Required) OR
* Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) (Required)
* Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) (Preferred)
