Customer Service Representative | Holt, MI
Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, orders, and delivery schedules.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper product codes and quantities.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, shipping errors, or damaged goods.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality control teams to expedite orders and address customer concerns.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and resolutions in the CRM system.
  • Provide product information and technical assistance to customers, including troubleshooting basic issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance the overall customer experience.

Recommended Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • 2+ years experience in customer service, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical information clearly
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and product specifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to resolve customer issues
