Per Diem Custodian
The Secaucus Board of Education invites qualified and interested persons to apply for the position of Per Diem Custodian.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum of a High School degree or equivalent.
* Custodial/Maintenance experience a plus.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lift a minimum of twenty (20) pounds.
BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Sweep, dust mop, and/or vacuum floors.
* High dust, clean and polish furniture/desks.
* Empty wastebaskets and deliver waste to dumpsters.
* Bathrooms: clean stalls/urinals; replenish toilet tissues, paper towels, and soap dispensers; clean sinks; mop floors.
* Dust mop and clean floors.
* Building premises, including sidewalks, driveways and play areas must always be maintained; this includes snow removal.
* Perform other custodial/maintenance duties as assigned.
Hourly Rate and Employment
Compensation: $17.00/hour
