Dental Assistant Chesapeake Endodontics

Ready to take the next step in your dental career? Chesapeake Endodontics in Annapolis, MD is looking for an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant to join our specialty team. If you're passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and cared for, and you love working in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentthis is the opportunity for you.

What You'll Do

As a key member of our clinical team, you'll support our specialists in delivering exceptional patient experiences from start to finish. You'll be the friendly, reassuring presence our patients rely on throughout their visit, while keeping our clinical operations running smoothly.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Welcoming and preparing patients for treatment
  • Assisting the doctor with all aspects of 4-handed dentistry
  • Setting up and sterilizing instruments and equipment
  • Providing clear post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Helping with scheduling, post-op appointments, and payment procedures
  • Keeping treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked

You'll also jump in to assist with other office responsibilities as neededbecause teamwork is everything here.

Who You Are

You're a dependable, detail-oriented Dental Assistant who takes pride in providing excellent care and supporting both patients and teammates. You stay calm under pressure, thrive on learning new things, and bring positivity and professionalism to every interaction.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 12 years of proven experience as a dental assistant (specialty experience preferred)
  • Active Maryland Radiology License (preferred)
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Well-organized and reliable
  • High school diploma
  • Certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law)
