Pay Grade - Grade A

Wage Scale - Wage Range $13.10 - $17.03 per hour. Based on experience.

Description - Under the supervision of the Residential Services Manager, provides seniors in St. Joseph County with support to help maintain independence in their own home using a person-centered approach. In-home aides will attend to the personal hygiene needs of a client including bathing, dressing and grooming tasks and assists with light housekeeping and other needs such as grocery shopping and light meal preparation to help our seniors maintain independence, and a safe and sanitary environment. Hours vary up to 29 hours per week.

Position Requirements - Education: High school graduation or equivalent. Completion of a certified nurse's aide training class preferred. Experience: Some prior experience working in a nursing home, extended care facility, home health care, community health, or similar setting preferred. Certification/Licensure: Valid Michigan driver's license and a negative TB test.
