General Notes
This is a grant-funded position with an anticipated end date of May 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension based on availability of funding, work performance, and progress toward research goals.
Purpose
The Clinical Research Associate I supports grant-funded research studies in the Lippard Lab within the Department of Psychiatry, with responsibilities spanning participant recruitment, study coordination, clinical and behavioral assessments, MRI data collection, and data management. This role contributes to a collaborative research environment focused on advancing understanding of mental health and behavioral outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Conduct phone screens for study recruitment and assist with subject recruitment.
* Conduct clinical and behavioral assessments, including structured clinical interviews, alcohol administration sessions, and MRI scans.
* Help with subject management, scheduling and reimbursement, and data analysis.
* Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree.
* Basic engineering and/or scientific equipment ordinarily used in college laboratory work.
* Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with projects involving human subject research.
* Experience with REDCap.
* Experience with clinical assessments (including structured clinical interviews).
* Experience with alcohol administration studies and MRI data collection.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate (written and verbal) and interact skillfully with investigators, staff, and researchers
* Work both as a team member and independently without continuous supervision
* Work with overlapping projects and with sensitive and confidential information
* Adapt to a dynamic and deadline-driven, patient-oriented environment.
Salary Range
$40,000 + depending on qualifications
