The post-doctoral researcher will work on a variety of projects in quantitative genetics and genomics, ranging from practical to theoretical, will develop novel methods to be applied in animal breeding and genetics, and perform analyses in fish data .
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position
PhD in Animal Breeding and Genetics, bioinformatics, or related field.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Knowledge of quantitative genetics, genomics, and statistical genetics is a plus. Proficiency in R, Unix bash scripting, and BLUPF90 is highly desired.
