Some things you will be doing:
* Manage the full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of client entities, including SPVs
* Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including consolidated financial statements with intercompany eliminations, in accordance with US GAAP
* Coordinate and manage year-end audits and work closely with external auditors
* Maintain general ledgers, perform reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of financial data
* Prepare capital call and distribution calculations, investor allocations, and supporting schedules
* Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and professional communication
* Ensure all client deliverables are completed accurately and within deadlines, including during peak reporting periods
* Assist in process improvements and implementation of best practices across client engagements
* Partner with offshore accounting teams to execute client deliverables, including reviewing work product, managing workflows, and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA a plus)
* 4-6+ years of accounting experience, ideally in public accounting, fund administration, or client services
* Experience in accounting for Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) or investment structures strongly preferred
* Demonstrated experience working in a client service-oriented environment
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding, recurring deadlines throughout the year
* Strong understanding of US GAAP
Preferred Skills
* Experience with QuickBooks and/or Investran is a plus
* Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
