Job Description
Assist the interventional radiologist, vascular surgeon, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, neuro-interventional radiologist, or neuro surgeon with performing interventional radiology procedures including but not limited to diagnostic and therapeutic angiography of the head and body, venography, fistula grams, central line placement, biopsies, drainages, and pain injections. Typical roles performed during procedures are as circulator or scrub assist.
Required Qualification:
Associate's Degree or Coursework/Training Two year technical program
Coursework/Training Completion of an approved radiology technologist training program
Required upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist (Vendor Managed)
Required upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Vendor Managed) Or Required upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (Vendor Managed) Or Required upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (Vendor Managed) Or Required upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography (Vendor Managed) Or Required upon hire: National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Vendor Managed)
Required upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed)
Prior experience in Interventional Radiology
