Crouse's Neuroscience Unit consists primarily of patients with a diagnosis of stroke, however many of the patients have diagnoses related to respiratory, cardiac, diabetic and renal issues. The Neuroscience team is hiring a Nursing Assistant.
The Nursing Assistant performs daily care activities to help achieve the goals of the patient care plan as directed by the Registered Professional Nurse.
Pay Range: $ /hour (based on experience).
Rotating Schedule:

Nursing Assistant Position Responsibilities:
* Assists the patient with daily care activities including but not limited to bathing, dressing, feeding, ambulating, personal hygiene and taking of vital signs.
* Supports and actively contributes to the achievement of the patient's goals associated with the plan of care.
* Individualizes communication based on the needs of the patients and families.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Must have one year of patient care experience, or is currently attending an accredited Registered Nursing program and has successfully completed the fundamentals of nursing coursework.
* Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire date.
