About
CT Technologists are responsible for producing cross-sectional images of the body to assist in diagnosing a wide range of conditions. Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures following physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for scans
- Administer contrast media as required
- Operate CT scanners and ensure image quality
- Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records (PACS)
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Assist radiologists with diagnostic interpretation support
- Minimum 1 2 years of CT Tech experience
- ARRT Certification (Radiography + CT preferred)
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Experience with contrast injections
