Pre-Analytical Specialist - Day Shift

LOCATION:  250 Miller Place, Hicksville, NY 11801

HOURS:  12:00pm - 8:30pm; Monday to Friday with Alt weekends

FULL TIME:   Benefits Eligible

HOURLY RATE: $17.10/hr

In this role you will:

• Ensure that all specimens brought to the laboratory are accurately identified (by name/specimen type), sorted and labeled for testing

• Assign and identify bar coded numbers to a test request form

• Identify specimen types and tests requested

All you need is:

• High School diploma or GED

• Proficient data entry skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred
