Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Atlanta, GA. This is a great opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment, including a transplant facility and primary stroke center, with a strong focus on MRI/MRA procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with established protocols
- Prepare and position patients to ensure optimal imaging results
- Administer contrast media safely and monitor patient responses
- Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC and PACS systems
- Ensure compliance with MRI safety standards and infection control policies
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for accurate diagnoses
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
- ARRT (MR) certification required (ARRT R accepted)
- BLS certification required
- Experience with EPIC charting system required
- Experience with Siemens and/or GE MRI equipment preferred
- Experience in acute care or trauma settings preferred
Additional Details:
- First-time travelers accepted
- Float required within facility scope and outpatient settings
- On-call: 1 weekend every 6 weeks
