**Mammographer PRN**

**Position Overview**
Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Mammographer to join our Medical Imaging team in Ontario, Oregon. Our Mammographers provide the skills and knowledge necessary to perform high‑quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures and clinical breast examinations. This role is essential to delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care while maintaining high clinical, safety, and documentation standards.
**What You Will Do**
+ Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements
+ Conduct clinical breast examinations as appropriate
+ Ensure accurate and complete patient and procedure documentation
+ Operate and maintain mammography equipment to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety
+ Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams, adapting communication to patient age and cognitive capacity
+ Deliver professional, compassionate care that reflects Saint Alphonsus' mission and values
**Skills, Knowledge, Education, and Experience**
+ Registered Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
+ Must obtain ARRT Mammography certification within 1 year of hire
+ Active Medical Imaging License issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI)
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross at time of hire
+ Active driving privileges
