The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Manistee region seeking Master Schedulers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the master production schedule for all manufactured products.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and supply chain to align production plans with customer demand and material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust schedules to optimize stock and minimize excess or shortages.
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, escalating complex issues to management as needed.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to generate forecasts, analyze capacity, and manage production orders.
- Drive continuous improvement in scheduling processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and present scheduling reports and key performance indicators to stakeholders.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and inventory management principles.
- APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred.
