Qualifications
- Master's Degree or Ed. Specialist in School Psychology
- Full approval as a Michigan School Psychologist, will consider for internship year
Essential Duties
- Full-time Elementary School Psychologist at Pine Knob Elementary School
? Building coordinator of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) with a strong understanding of MTSS and interpretation of data
? Facilitate building level Section 504 Evaluations and meetings
? Participate in building level special education evaluations under IDEA and Section 504 evaluations with strong diagnostic skills and experience participating in the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team process
? Ability to take a lead role in functional behavioral analysis (FBA) and development of comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIP)
? Building crisis support team
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team
? Effective collaboration with parents, educational staff and other professionals
? Experience facilitating the IEP process
? Knowledge of applied behavior analysis
? Trained in, or willing to be trained in non-violent crisis intervention
? Maintain accurate and confidential records
? Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable
Salary
Appropriate placement on the current Teacher's Master Agreement.
