This role is ideal for a dedicated cardiac care nurse who is committed to providing safe, high-quality patient care . The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring adherence to nursing best practices and safety standards .

Job specification
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures .
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients before, during, and after Cath Lab procedures .
- Administer medications and IV therapies as directed by physicians.
- Coordinate patient care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, including physicians, technologists, and support staff.
- Educate patients and their families on procedures, post-procedure care, and lifestyle modifications .
- Ensure compliance with National Patient Safety Standards and hospital protocols.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing colleagues and support staff .
Candidate requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- One year of nursing experience.
