About
The Quality Control Auditor is responsible for verifying conformance of product to Company specifications, rejecting nonconforming product to be scrapped or approving conforming product to be shipped.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform in-process QC testing and finished product audits.
- Perform incoming receiving inspection and analysis on raw materials.
- Conduct finished goods inspections at the warehouse. Inspect mulch, mat and tube products for any quality issues and report findings.
- Maintain quality documentation.
- Collaborate with production and warehouse personnel to resolve any material handling issues impacting package integrity.
- Prepare any product samples for Sales/Marketing personnel.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Job Requirements

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to analyze problems and determine viable solutions; solid decision making skills
- Proficient at basic math calculations
- PC skills including proficiency with MS Office
- Willingness to work with product that is dirty
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish preferred

- The employee may be required to make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls; use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls; use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble objects.
- The employee is regularly required to perform fine hand manipulation (keyboarding).
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- May require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Must be flexible in regards to work schedule and have the ability to work nights and weekends as required.
