How you'll make an impact in this role
Internal Audit Support:
The incumbent ensures rigorous compliance with all governing legal and regulatory pharmacy standards.
Compliance: Federal (FDA, DEA), State statutes, and Board of Pharmacy rules, requiring constant review and inspection preparedness.
Strategic Committee Participation:
This role requires active involvement in key committees to provide expertise, shape policy, and ensure quality/patient safety.
Medication Safety: Contributes knowledge to prevent errors and drive systemic improvements.
Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T): Manages formulary, evaluates new therapies, reviews protocols, and makes evidence-based decisions on drug inclusion (efficacy, safety, cost).
Quality Improvement/Infection Control: Integrates pharmacy practices with institutional objectives for infection prevention and continuous performance enhancement.
What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
* Pharmacist credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job
