Position Summary
The Clinical Applications Analyst works as part of the Clinical Applications team in supporting day-to-day operations, completing maintenance tasks, and working on assigned projects as determined by the Clinical Applications Manager.
Qualifications
- Support clinic staff by responding to help desk cases, answering support calls, and directing inquiries to other teams as needed.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure streamlined, quality clinical applications data and workflows.
- Collaborate with clinic staff on projects to improve existing processes or create new EMR content as assigned by the Clinical Applications Manager.
- Coordinate and conduct EMR trainings for new and returning clinic staff.
- Excellent customer service skills
- High level computer proficiency and efficiency
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly and apply technical skills to practical problems
- Self-motivated to deepen understanding of healthcare by producing results in their work
Required Knowledge, Experience, or Licensure/Registration
- Bachelor's degree.
- Highly qualified candidates will have a base-level understanding of the healthcare field and/or prior experience in IT, computer science, clinical applications, or healthcare analytics.
- Proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office applications is required. Experience with computer programming (Python, Java, HTML, SQL, etc.) a plus.
