- Provide direct patient care for individuals with neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and traumatic brain injuries.
- Monitor patients' neurological status and collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and ongoing care.
- Assist in procedures and work closely with neurologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and evidence-based practices.
Candidate requirements
- Active RN license in Washington.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent neurology or acute care experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of neurological disorders, treatments, and interventions.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations effectively.
