The Sr Associate Content Writer collaborates with our in-house creative and strategy teams to deliver a wide range of interactive content crafted to inform, engage, and delight their intended audience(s) across core digital channels including, but not limited to, email, web, social, video, and digital advertising.
Responsibilities: • Research, conceptualize, and compose innovative digital content that is easily digestible, informative, and encourages the audience(s) in taking the next appropriate action. • Demonstrated ability to translate complex ideas from multiple reference sources into stories that engage and delight the target audience(s). • Collaborate with Associate Creative Directors, peers, and key stakeholders on how to best achieve defined objectives. • Ensure consistency and quality across all written content. • Help to foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, and creativity. • Proactively manage deadlines across multiple projects in a fast-paced, Agile environment. • Use your subject matter expertise to help elevate our digital marketing strategy. • Demonstrate a strong understanding of performance marketing (search, social, display). • Develop a deep understanding of the products and services you will be marketing and how they are nuanced across distribution channels. • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: • 5 or more years of experience producing copy for digital platforms and interfaces (and a portfolio of your work) • Ability to simplify complex concepts into digestible copy that guides users through our digital experiences. • An iterative and feedback-driven approach to writing, testing, and editing copy. • Desire to promote digital marketing concepts and best practices. • Ability to manage multiple high visibility, high urgency projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Experience using technology to collaborate, such as Workfront, SmartSheet, TFS, Jira, etc.
Experience with driving email best practices Bachelor's degree preferred, with concentration in journalism, marketing, communications, or related discipline. Knowledge of sales and marketing processes, as well as investment products and services are a plus.
• Ability to communicate highly technical subject matter to non-technical audiences.
