About
The Radiologic Technologist collaborates closely with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the care team to coordinate imaging services, communicate pertinent patient information, and respond to changing clinical needs. Key responsibilities include verifying orders and patient identity, explaining procedures and obtaining cooperation, adjusting technical factors based on patient condition and body habitus, and ensuring proper use of protective shielding. The technologist documents procedures accurately in the electronic medical record, follows departmental workflows, and assists in maintaining equipment, supplies, and a clean, safe work environment.
