Sr. Quality Engineer - St. Joseph DAP

We’re hiring a Quality Engineer to support our Original Equipment (OE) customers by driving process control and quality assurance initiatives. This role is based at our manufacturing plant and reports to the Quality Manager within the Operations division. You’ll be hands-on in developing and implementing statistical process control procedures, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and championing continuous improvement projects.

What the Group Does

The Quality team ensures that our products meet stringent OE specifications and customer expectations. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this group plays a critical role in safeguarding product reliability, supporting manufacturing design, and driving supplier quality improvements. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

• Develop and implement statistical process control (SPC) methods to meet OE quality standards.
• Lead audits, analyze process data, and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
• Train employees on quality control procedures and tools, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Partner with suppliers to maintain certification and improve product quality.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to drive efficiency and problem-solving.
• Provide timely reporting of quality metrics and support cross-functional projects.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Previous quality experience in ISO9001/IATF16949 environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and Access, including database development.

Preferred

• Certified Internal IATF Auditor.
• CQE or CQA certification.
• Project management experience.
