to serve as the primary subject matter expert for the school’s enterprise data ecosystem. This person will be responsible for the seamless integration of student information, advancement data, and institutional operations. What You’ll Do Lead the administration of the full Blackbaud suite, including
SIS, LMS, and Raiser’s Edge NXT . You will manage system configuration, security roles, annual rollovers, and the academic setup for report cards and transcripts. Design and troubleshoot automated data exchanges between Blackbaud and third-party platforms such as
Finalsite, Magnus Health, Naviance, and Google Workspace . You will leverage APIs, SDKs, and scripting to reduce manual effort and improve reliability. Chair the school’s data governance committee, establishing standards for data integrity, naming conventions, and record ownership while auditing data quality to prevent inconsistencies. Build reusable tools, dashboards, and complex queries that empower Admissions, Advancement, and Academic leadership to make data-informed decisions without manual workarounds. Provide day-to-day support and training for faculty and staff. You will translate technical concepts into clear documentation and lead training sessions on best practices for data management. What You Need to Succeed 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Blackbaud systems within a K–12, higher education, or nonprofit environment. Deep knowledge of
Blackbaud SIS/LMS and Raiser’s Edge NXT . You must be proficient with APIs, SDKs, and data formats such as
CSV, XML, JSON, and OneRoster . Ability to develop custom scripts or lightweight middleware to automate recurring data tasks and synchronize disparate systems. Advanced Excel skills and the ability to translate operational questions into actionable insights and robust reporting tools. Exceptional written communication and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders.
