Contract Head of Finance: Major retail group, 12-month contract Our client is a well-established, privately owned Irish business with over 50 years' trading history and employs over 500 people. They are now seeking a Contract Head of Finance to lead the finance function for a multi-brand operation with significant scale and complexity in a fast-paced environment.. You are a Contract Head of Finance with: Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, ideally managing 10+ people across multiple disciplines Strong consolidation and group reporting experience, comfortable supporting monthly group processes and delivering KPI analysis A track record of driving process improvement, transformation initiatives and system implementations Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to translate financial insights for non-finance stakeholders at the senior leadership level Hands-on experience managing cashflow forecasting, working capital optimisation and banking relationships Strong technical skills across management accounts, statutory reporting, budgeting and internal controls, with advanced Excel proficiency This Contract Head of Finance opportunity offers genuine exposure to group-wide projects, strategic decision-making and the chance to shape the financial operating model of a high-performing division within a dynamic, growth-focused organisation.
