Medical Assistant

Professional Type: Allied Health Professional Specialty: Medical Assistant Contract Type: Long-Term, 13 weeks, Shift: Day, 8 hour, 40 hour/week, no weekends, No on-call Rate: $20.00 - $24.00/hr

Notes:

Local candidates only. Temp to hire. Shift: We have three schedules, Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM, 8:15AM to 4:45PM, and 5:30AM to 5:00PM.

Requirements:

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic Certification.
• Preferred Education - Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • In lieu of education requirement, at least 2 years experience in direct patient care (acute or ambulatory space) may be considered.
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Epic experience preferred
• Prefer experience in a busy medical office
• Has to have transportation, and the possibility to work in a satellite office if we are short-handed
