Field Service Engineer The Company Our client is an ambitious and growing engineering organisation operating within the specialist print equipment sector. Due to this continued growth, our client is now seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and supporting print equipment at customer sites across Ireland, with a strong focus on the Leinster region. This is a hands-on electro-mechanical role suitable for an engineer with prior field service experience who is looking to grow with a business and progress long-term. Key responsibilities include: Servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on lithography machines Working on motors, sensors, drives, and electronic/electrical control boards Diagnosing electro-mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime Carrying out planned maintenance and reactive service work Providing professional, customer-focused support on site Completing service documentation and reports accurately Supporting ongoing installations and upgrades where required The role is field-based, covering a nationwide territory with a primary focus on Leinster. The Candidate Our client is seeking an engineer with: Proven field service experience A strong electro-mechanical background Experience working on electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems Ability to fault-find on motors, sensors, and control boards Willingness to travel as part of a nationwide service role Strong customer-facing and communication skills Ambition to progress into senior or leadership roles over time Full driving licence Experience in the print or lithography sector is advantageous but not essential; strong electro-mechanical field service experience is the priority. Package Our client offers an attractive and progressive package, including: Salary: €45,000 - €50,000 (DOE) Vehicle: Company vehicle provided Fuel Card: Included Pension: 1.5% company contribution (standard) Holidays: 22 days annual leave (increasing with service) Training: Ongoing technical and product training provided Progression: Clear long-term progression, with potential to move into senior roles Location Ideally suited to candidates based in Greater Dublin, Kildare, Laois, or Wicklow.
