About

Sevita is a leading provider of home and community-based health care services, dedicated to helping individuals of all ages and abilities live life to the fullest. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide person-centered occupational therapy services to infants, children, and adolescents in home, community, and clinic-based settings. As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Sevita, you will assess each child’s functional abilities, sensory processing, motor skills, self-care, and participation in daily routines. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving independence, safety, and quality of life at home, school, and in the community. Using evidence-based, developmentally appropriate interventions, you will work directly with children and their caregivers to build skills in areas such as fine and gross motor coordination, play and social participation, self-feeding, dressing, handwriting, sensory regulation, and adaptive equipment use. You will collaborate closely with families, caregivers, teachers, and an interdisciplinary team of healthcare and behavioral health professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care. Responsibilities include conducting standardized and functional assessments, documenting progress and outcomes, maintaining accurate and timely clinical records, and adjusting treatment plans based on each child’s evolving needs. You will provide caregiver education and coaching to support carryover of therapeutic strategies in everyday routines, and you may participate in IEP or care planning meetings as needed. Sevita fosters an inclusive and supportive work environment where you are encouraged to grow, innovate, and share your clinical expertise. You will have access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities to expand your pediatric skills and stay current with best practices in occupational therapy. The ideal candidate is empathetic, collaborative, and committed to improving the lives of children and families through high-quality, person-centered care. This full-time role offers a competitive salary, the stability of a salaried position, and eligibility for performance-based bonuses. You will typically work in a hybrid model that may include home visits, community settings, and occasional office or clinic-based work, with some flexibility in scheduling to meet family needs. At Sevita, you will join a mission-driven organization where your work has a direct and lasting impact on children’s development, participation, and independence. If you are a licensed Occupational Therapist with a passion for pediatrics, strong clinical reasoning skills, and a desire to contribute to a collaborative, supportive team, Sevita offers a rewarding opportunity to grow your career while making a meaningful difference every day.
