About
* Manages all quality assurance and control functions of the Company. * Develops, formulates, and directs the quality program involving inspection methods, devices and control techniques. * Manages and continuously improves the quality management system (QMS)/ISO 9001 quality procedures. * Assures specified quality of raw materials, purchased components, production processes and final product through delegation and responsibility to the Quality Control Supervisor/Engineer and /or Quality Control Technician. * Conducts or assigns ISO audits for compliance to the published Quality Procedures. * Conducts or supervises studies to determine cause, effect and the corrective action required to remedy deviations to specified quality. * In conjunction with Engineering and/or Manufacturing personnel, resolves problems relative to product designs, specifications, materials, tooling and production processes that affect quality. * Conducts investigations of customers' complaints or returns, advising the Sales Department of causes and corrective action. * Advises as to the effectiveness of the Quality Program. * Administers work rules, regulations and required disciplinary actions. * Maintains department requirements in areas of staffing, orientation, training, etc. * Establishes department goals and appraises employee performance. * Effectively use quality tools such as SPC, PPAP, PFMEA, and DOE * Complies with all aspects of the safety program.

* · Requires 4-year college degree (or equivalent). * · Requires 3 to 5 years' experience. * · Required Quality management experience with electromechanical type products. * · Preferred ASQ certification. * Requires the ability to use a personal computer and Microsoft Office applications.
REPORTING / WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
* · Reports to President. * · Must interact with personnel from all departments.
