Vacancy - Paraprofessional - Special Education

We are now accepting applications for the Paraprofessional - Special Education position for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualified candidates are needed to fill this role. Classification: Educational Aide/Parapro/Assistant. Work Schedule: School Year Only - 190 Work Days. Shift/Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week (8:00 am to 4:00 pm). Benefits: Benefits Package Included Starting: August 2026. Location: Springdale Elementary.

Qualifications: This position supports IEP students in the inclusion setting, provides interventions, and performs duties including lunch/recess coverage. Requirements: At the time of application, the applicant must possess an Associate Degree or equivalent credit hours or have already taken/passed the Ohio ParaPro Assessment Test and apply for ESEA endorsement, in addition to meeting the requirements per the attached job description. Some college experience is preferred. Special Education training is required.
