* Design and develop foundry tooling (patterns, core boxes) using Creo. * Conduct casting simulations (SolidCast) to validate tooling performance. * Resolve casting issues, re-gating, and scrap defect analysis. * Collaborate with managers, tool designers, engineers, and pattern makers on workflow priorities. * Provide direction to suppliers and internal teams for tooling build projects. * Ensure compliance with standards, tolerances, and best practices in tool construction.
Required Qualifications
* Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. * Minimum 5 years of relevant foundry/tooling design experience. * Strong CAD skills (Creo preferred). * Hands-on experience with foundry processes (No-bake, Cold box). * Knowledge of machining prints, geometric tolerances, and CNC milling (desired).
