Data Engineer (Google Data Engineering) Atlanta, GA Responsibilities: Design and build scalable data pipelines for large structured & unstructured datasets Perform data ingestion, cleaning, transformation, and validation Develop data models and support analytics, BI, and machine learning use cases Implement data quality checks and optimize data processing workflows Work with data science & BI teams for reporting and insights Build and maintain data infrastructure on cloud platforms Handle streaming data using Kafka/Spark Mentor junior engineers and lead data engineering initiatives Required Skills: 7+ years IT experience, 5+ years in Data Engineering/ETL Strong experience with
Big Data tools : Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka Hands-on with
Databricks (Delta Lake, Notebooks, DLT, Unity Catalog) Strong
SQL + PySpark/Spark SQL Experience in
data pipeline development & optimization Cloud experience:
GCP / AWS / Azure Knowledge of
