Personal Care Assistant PCA

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Administer medication reminders and monitor health conditions as directed.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a safe environment.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervisor.
• Support mobility and physical exercises to promote independence.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to encourage mental stimulation.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the dignity of clients at all times.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a PCA or HHA is preferred.
• Prior experience in home health care or a related field is a plus.
• Compassionate demeanor with a strong desire to help others.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Basic understanding of healthcare practices and procedures.
