Job Title: Java AEM Developer (80% Java Backend & 20% AEM FrontEnd) Duration: Long Term Location: Westlake, TX - Hybrid Must Have: Java, Rest API Development, AEM, AWS(Lamba, S3, Postgress), Jenkins, Sling framework, OSGi, AEM workflows The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related major with 6+ years of full-stack development experience Experience in Object Oriented Programming language like JAVA. Proven experience in software Design Principles such as SOLID. Knowledge of RESTful API and micro services development. Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud Architecture, including Cloud Manager, supporting CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and cloud-native configurations Proven ability to design, build, and enhance enterprise-scale AEM solutions, contributing directly to high-quality, production-ready code Extensive hands-on experience in AEM Frontend development, including: Editable Templates and AEM Core/Custom Components Client Libraries and frontend asset management HTML Template Language (HTL) Solid experience implementing AEM backend components, including: OSGi components and services Custom workflows and process steps Writing efficient, scalable, and maintainable backend logic Strong working knowledge of the Sling framework, including: Sling Models and Servlets Sling Schedulers, Sling Jobs, and event-driven processing Event Handlers, Listeners, and Preprocessors Practical understanding of Sling Distribution and content synchronization patterns Hands-on experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs and OpenAPI?based AEM APIs Hands-on experience working with AWS services, including AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and IAM roles and policies to build secure, scalable cloud solutions Proven ability to design, implement, and support serverless and event?driven architectures using AWS-managed services Strong understanding of AWS security, permissions, and access controls, with experience configuring IAM roles, policies, and resource-level permissions Good understanding of automation (testing, continuous integration/deployment) CI/CD & container experience: Jenkins Core, Github, Docker. Experience or certification in Cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) architectures is nice to have Good understanding of automation (testing, continuous integration/deployment) Excellent collaboration skills to work with teams across geographic locations Accountable for consistent delivery of functional software – sprint to sprint, release to release Excellent communication skills, both through written and verbal channels. Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization distributed across geographic locations.
