Overview The Network Engineer will support enterprise network infrastructure within a regulated life sciences environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable network operations across corporate, cloud, and lab environments. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in enterprise networking, security-conscious design, and cross-functional collaboration within complex IT ecosystems. Key Responsibilities Network Infrastructure & Operations Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN environments Support routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks Monitor performance, availability, and capacity Troubleshoot network issues across corporate and cloud environments Cloud & Hybrid Networking Support networking components in AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms Configure and maintain secure connectivity between on-prem and cloud environments Assist with cloud migration initiatives and network optimization Security & Compliance Partner with security teams to enforce network security policies Support firewall management and access controls Ensure alignment with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements Collaboration & Support Work closely with Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams Support lab and clinical environments as needed Participate in on-call rotation if required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering Experience with routing/switching technologies (Cisco or similar) Experience with enterprise firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet or similar) Experience supporting cloud networking environments (AWS, Azure, or similar) Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills Experience in regulated environments (biotech/pharma preferred) Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
