FTE: 0.9, Shift: nights, Schedule: 12 hours shifts

Position Summary

The Nursing Assistant Trainee (NAC Trainee) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide quality care that is focused on the comfort and well-being of the patient and family. Employees in this job will only perform work within the scope of the Trainee position as outlined in the education program.

Responsibilities
  • Assists with room set up for patient admissions
  • Helps prepare patients for discharge
  • Performs bed changes, and safety sweeps of patient rooms; empties urinals, commodes, trash and linen receptacles in patient rooms
  • Picks up and delivers items to lab, supply chain, etc.
  • Assists with transports, delivery of patient belongings
  • Assists with answering phone calls
  • Stocks PPE stations and organizes storage and stock room
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred
  • BLS Certification obtained within 2 weeks of placement in job

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.12 - $20.12 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
